HAHAHA....Look at the face

Walking around while waiting for Thanksgiving dinner...

(almost 15 months old)
I can't believe how much he has grown...

So, on Thursday Michael and I made a walk to Wal-Mart to look at a training potty. I broke down a purchased one. I know to many of you it may seem early, but I mainly got to to help him get used to it. And so far he has peed in it 4 times!! Once on Thursday night and 3 TIMES today! Friday was a busy day making sure the house was clean before we left for the weekend, so I didn't worry about placing him on it that day...and like I said we were away from the house the whole weekend. But today I placed him on the potty to see if he would try and sure enough after sitting there for 15-20 minutes he went pee...lol he started getting up I told him to wait and go pee. Well, he got mad and stood up anyway, and sure enough he had ALREADY gone pee..lol silly boy! And tonight I placed him on the potty before his bath and it only took him 3-5 minutes to pee. After his bath, he must have peed right when I placed him on the potty, because he sat there for 2-3 minutes and peed more than the time before the bath.
The reason I decided to place him on the potty before and after bath tonight...he has been peeing in the tub during bath, and I thought maybe we could try having him go pee in his potty before he went in his bath.
I'm happy to say, "He went pee in his potty 3 TIMES!! 3 TIMES!!"
Here is an update on our little family:
If you haven't kept up with my facebook status I will give you an update on what I have been up to the past few months. As many of you may know I have been working on completing my permanent residence paperwork. As of last week there is nothing left for ME to do in order to complete it. It is now in the hands of the Canada Government. I pray the waiting period won't be long, because it will be nice to be able to see my family and friends just across the boarder in the US. I miss everyone so much!
My finger print results came in and all I had left to do was wait for my passport to be mailed to me, so I could send them the last of everything. I'm so glad that now all I have to do is wait for that letter saying the last amount of the money I owe to get my permanent residence card is due....PRAISE THE LORD! I am a LOT closer to getting this done this time. Continue to pray...last time I had a medical exam done Canada Immigration NEVER got my results, so I am still a little nervous about that part. Once I have heard they have gotten the results I will be able to breath easier and get Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP), so when I do get sick it won't cost us an arm and a leg.
I can't say that once I get OHIP that we will begin to try for a second. I feel we would like to be a little better off financially and I see a way I could help with that once I can work in Canada. I'm excited about just being ABLE to work here.
So, I hope this update made sense...I am listening to music while posting, because I seem to have a hard time focusing today. I may come back a edit it later to double check and make sure I put everything I wanted to place in the post.
